There are now 18 YC companies valued over $1B. Together, the YC companies have raised over $25B from investors. There are several ways to gain access to YC companies as an investor.

Demo Day

Demo Day is our flagship event where the companies in each batch present to a carefully selected, invite only audience. Each batch of YC companies raises about $250M of seed capital in the weeks following Demo Day. We run two Demo Days per year, in March and August.

Demo Day is a roughly 1,000 person event and is always oversubscribed, so it is by invitation only. You can learn more and apply to attend (or view online)

Series A program

In 2018, YC companies raised over $964mm across 97 Series As. Near as we can tell, that’s the highest number in any portfolio anywhere in venture investing. We expect that number to go up each year as we fund more companies.

To help more Series A investors get access to this dealflow, we created the Series A program. Several times a year, we share companies that are raising Series A’s with a select set of invited investors. We do this through an invite only, online portal, the Series A Investor Portal.
